The Perceptos!

Surf and twang trio, The Perceptos, can transport your eardrums to those of a 16 year old twisting to the beat of a dancehall in 1958!  Aficionados of their instruments, well known faces in the Scottish vintage scene.

A groove-driven instrumental rock’n’roll trio where 60s soundtrack cool meets the raw twang of surf guitar and the deep dancefloor drive of vintage R&B. Featuring members of Imelda May, The Boogaloo Investigators and The Strange Blue Dreams. For fans of the The John Barry Seven, Booker T. & the M.G.'s and Dick Dale. Drawing on the golden age of cinematic rock’n’roll, vintage R&B and spaghetti western soundtracks, with tight melodic grooves that would sound right at home on a jukebox between rock’n’roll, soul and spy-movie classics.

Liz Jones & Friends!

Joined by a selection of the finest windows, widows, windbreakers and more, Liz Jones will be hosting this gig in the usual flair of 'Music First', logistics later!  "In truth, I have friends visiting from Europe and they wanted to see me do a gig, so I booked this awesome band and lovely venue, and will be providing an hour of live music myself, with a collection of brilliant musicians!"
